Text message consent
PonchoGuard only texts people who asked for texts. This page shows the two ways that happens, what the messages look like, and how to stop them.
PonchoGuard is a service of G3NO Systems LLC. Program: family scam-protection alerts and scam checks.
Way 1: you text us first
A person texts a suspicious message to the PonchoGuard number to have it checked. That text is their request, so we reply to that number with the result.

Way 2: you add your number in the app
A family helper signs in to the PonchoGuard family dashboard, goes to the text message card, and types their own phone number. They see the notice below before anything is sent.

Get alerts by text
We text a 6-digit code to confirm the number first. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.
PonchoGuard then texts a 6-digit code to that number. The helper types the code into the dashboard. Only after the code matches is the number confirmed and allowed to receive alerts.
After the code is entered
Your number is confirmed. PonchoGuard can now text you. Reply STOP to any text to stop.
